Dr. Deepti Yadav is an experienced orthodontist and academic with over 16 years of professional expertise, including more than 12 years in teaching. She is currently a Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Indraprastha Dental College and Hospital, Sahibabad. She is the Associate Editor of the college Journal, ""Journal of Advances in Oral Health"". Dr. Yadav completed her M.D.S. in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Goa Dental College in 2008, following her B.D.S. from the same institution in 2005. Prior to her academic career, she served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Lady Hardinge Medical College and Smt. S.S.K. Hospital. Dr. Yadav has been a mentor to postgraduate students and also serves as a visiting orthodontist at various clinics in Delhi. She has authored numerous articles in prestigious national and international indexed journals and has published books with renowned publishers. Her research includes guiding an ICMR-STS approved study on the effectiveness of activated charcoal orthodontic toothbrushes for plaque removal in fixed orthodontic patients. Dr. Yadav’s excellence in both clinical and academic fields has earned her several accolades, including ""Emerging Researcher of the Year"" at the CYNODENT International Awards in 2022, ""Best Cosmetic Dentist in Dwarka"" at the National Healthcare Service Excellence Awards in 2021, and ""Best Orthodontist of the Year"" at the India Eminent Healthcare Awards in 2020. She was also recognized as the Best Graduate Student at Goa Dental College in 2008. Dr. Yadav is a reviewer for multiple journals, including the *Journal of Clinical Dentistry* and the *Journal of Engineering Research and Sciences*. |
