In an effort to enhance teaching methodologies through technology, Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital organized a workshop titled “Transforming Education with Artificial Intelligence: Practical Applications” on 18th April 2025 in the college conference room. The session was conducted by Dr. Ketaki Sharma, who holds a PhD in Medical Physiology from Subharti University and is currently pursuing an advanced certification in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from IIT Roorkee – Intellipaat. The workshop was held in small groups of 10 to 15 faculty members to encourage hands-on interaction. Dr. Sharma delivered an insightful presentation on the practical use of AI in education, focusing on tools that support personalized learning, automated assessments, smart content delivery, and data-driven decision-making.

In a continued effort to enhance digital proficiency among faculty, Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital organized a hands-on workshop titled “Mastering Microsoft Excel” on 4th July 2024 in the college conference room. The session was conducted by Mr. Vishal Teotia, a seasoned professional with diverse experience in marketing, administration, and digital strategy across multiple sectors. The workshop was attended by 45 faculty members, divided into smaller groups of 10 to 15 participants to facilitate focused, hands-on interaction. Mr. Teotia conducted an engaging and practical session, demonstrating the effective use of Microsoft Excel in streamlining academic and administrative tasks such as data management, automated calculations, report generation, and performance tracking
This one day program was held on 28th feb 2025. This intensive program aimed to equip the faculty of orthodontics,prosthodontics and paedodontics with the knowledge and skills to integrate this cutting edge technology into their clinical practices

Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital has organized a Faculty Development Programme on “NITROUS OXIDE ANALGESIA” on 25thApril 2025 (Friday) at BODHI DHARMAN AUDITORIUM (LT-5)from 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM. The programme was conducted to focus on Nitrous oxide Conscious Sedation. including its uses, doses and advantages such asit’s quick onset and short duration of effects, making it ideal for brief and minimally invasive procedures especially in child patient to alleviate anxiety and discomfort during dental procedures.The programme featured lectures and clinical application of Nitrous Oxide Conscious Sedation in Pediatric Dentistry.
The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Digital Smile Design” on 28th March, 2025(Friday) by Dr. Sween Kathuria , a renowned Endodontist and Cosmetic dentist. Esctatic arts – Photo and Videography programme attended by 101 faculty members on 23 Nov 22. Programme was conducted by award winning phototographers Mr Arpit Gupta and Ms Seema Thakur Gupta, founder trustee of Art of photography a registered trust with ministry of MSME Govt of India. It was explained that photography is both science and art. This programme has enabeled faculty members to understand the technical aspects of camera and how to produce fine Intal oral and Extra oral images.
Biodentine - It is a biocompatible, bulk filled and bioactive material. Clinical applications on the material were taught to faculty.
